Welcome to the Brights' Network!
The Brights' Network is a world-wide community of Brights with the purpose of promoting society's understanding and acceptance of those with a naturalistic worldview - one that is free of supernatural and mystical elements.
  • Meet and connect with other Brights who share your worldview. Join a live chat or forum for discussions. Join or start a group for socializing locally, sharing common interests, or dating other Brights for example. Subscribe to blogs for the latest news and perspectives.

  • Express your thoughts and share your expertise by creating wiki articles and blogging. Help build our encyclopedia of Brights' knowledge by contributing your expertise.

  • Help the community evolve and grow by starting or joining groups to work on the organization, the Web site, advocacy, Bright philosophy, community service, fundraising and the budget, or whatever topic interests you.

At this time there are two Brights' Network sites. The-Brights.net is the original Web site and this one is a new social network platform that is being developed to be more inclusive for the membership. How these will integrate is under discussion.

The movement's three major aims are:

    1. Promote the civic understanding and acknowledgment of the naturalistic worldview, which is free of supernatural and mystical elements.
    2. Gain public recognition that persons who hold such a worldview can bring principled actions to bear on matters of civic importance.
    3. Educate society toward accepting the full and equitable civic participation of all such individuals.
